How does the free trial work?
Sign up without a card and your receptionist is ready in minutes. For 7 days you can call it from your own phone numbers to test it. When you're happy, choose a plan and add a card to start answering your customers' calls — you won't be charged until the trial ends.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. Keep your existing landline or mobile number and simply set up call forwarding — we'll walk you through it for your provider. You also get your own UK local number, which you can give out directly if you prefer.
Does it sound like a robot?
No. PhoneAnswerer uses natural-sounding AI voices and speaks conversationally. You can choose from several voices and give your receptionist its own name and greeting. Callers are told at the start of the call that they're speaking to an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded.
Are prices shown with VAT?
Prices are shown excluding VAT. UK VAT at 20% is added at checkout. VAT-registered businesses can reclaim it as normal.
What happens if I go over my minutes?
We'll never stop answering your calls. Extra minutes are billed at 15p per minute, and we'll let you know if a bigger plan would save you money.
Where is my data stored?
Your call recordings and transcripts are stored on servers in London. Recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days and transcripts after 12 months, and you can delete them sooner at any time. We handle your data in line with UK GDPR — see our privacy policy.
Can I cancel at any time?
Absolutely. There are no contracts or cancellation fees — cancel from your account in a couple of clicks.
